Is leveling up on Battlefield 3 a cheat?

 First statement: Battlefield 3 is my first on-line game, and although there are few problems with, I know DICE is trying to solve at least part of them.

I don´t consider leveling up a cheat either. The game lets you do that! And what real advantages would it give to you? If you have 10.000 shotguns ribbons, will it improve your accuracy? No, it won´t! If you have no medals or 1000 revive medals, will it improve your reviving ability? No, it won´t.

 AIMBOT and others are ridiculous and should lead to BAN, once you get real advantage against opponents, but leveling up will get you MEDALS, that fit only to yourself.

 OK, I know that early stages of the game, leveling up unlocks weapons and accessories, but play one week and you unlock them all. Besides that, be a skillful player and you can kill anybody with any weapon...
